
Cucumber and Moong daal salad
Ingredients:
1Cucumber
25 grams of Moong daal
1-2 Green Chillis(chopped)
2 tsp Coriander leaves
Coconut (fresh or Grated) 2 tsp
1tsp lemon Juice
Mustered seeds 1tsp
1 tblsp oil
4-5 fresh curry leaves
Salt to taste
Soak the Moong daal in water over night.( 4 to 5 Hours)
Chop the Cucumber into small pieces and put into a bowl.
Strain the Moong daal and mix it with cucumber
Heat the oil in a pan, once the oil heated put the musterd seeds followed by Green chillis and curry leaves. Add this to the bowl. add lemon juice and coriander leaves.Mix well. Add salt at the time of serving .
Serving hints: a good side dish with papadams and on its own.
